Junckers solid strip boards and wide boards are available in a wide range of beautiful hardwood species - in both light and dark colors ranging from a clear grade to a more rustic appearance. Choose between lacquered, oiled or untreated surfaces (boards are pre-finished as standard). Junckers is unique because it is a solid, pre-finished, floating system with a square edge - no ugly bevel. Install solid hardwood, as a floating floor, directly onto concrete sub-floors without the need for battens and the extra height this usually demands. Junckers is also specially designed as structural boards. This makes it possible to nail the boards onto softwood battens or joists. Thanks to the Junckers Clip System, a floating floor can be installed over the majority of modern radiant heat systems.

No substitute for wood can reproduce the warmth and feel of genuine hardwood flooring. EKOWOOD is a pre-finished, all-hardwood construction, with increased stability, especially on coastal work. EKOWOOD's unique hardwood core enables these floors to either be nailed down, or "floated" over most subfloors (including concrete). EKOWOOD is ideal with radiant heat!
